The BELS advisory team for autistic children and young people are running an online session on Tuesday 2nd June 6-7pm on the topic of Supporting Autistic Young People to Thrive during Transition from Primary to Secondary With Autistic speaker Dr Pooky Knightsmith.
The move from primary to secondary school is a big one for any child, and for autistic young people it can feel especially daunting, both for them and for you. This warm, practical session is for parents and carers of Year 6 children (Year 5s welcome too) who want to feel more confident about the months ahead.
