We are delighted to share with our members our “Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child” booklet, a practical guide created by parents and carers, for parents and carers. This resource combines real-life experiences, practical tips, and trusted information from the NHS and national charities.
The guide covers key topics including understanding neurodivergence, early help, the diagnostic process, education and school support, daily life with a neurodivergent child, sensory needs, and social and emotional development. It also provides links to further reading, videos, and blogs, making it easy for families to access the support they need.
The booklet has been adapted to reflect local services across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington and will be available on our Local Offer website soon. We hope you find this useful.
