From January 2017 to July 2017 the Specialist Inclusion Services and Educational Psychology Team will be offering a number of 1:1 parent drop in sessions. All the sessions are free (no cost) and will take place in the community (a school, EY setting). The purpose is to provide parents with the opportunity to access a professional to discuss their needs or concerns. Each half term the workshops will be located in a school, in a different part of the borough.
Each drop-in date will be run by a different specialist team professional or EP and a bespoke flyer will be available outlining the support the specific team can offer in any particular drop-in – the BPCF will shared these when they are produced.
More detailed information will be available in the new year to outline the aims of the drop-ins, what will be provided, how they will operate, the booking process and a schedule of dates (indicating which professionals will be facilitating which drop-ins). Barnet PCF will share this information, but you will also be able to find it on the Local Offer page in the ‘Upcoming Events’ section in the new year.
